We would like to welcome you all back for what promises to be an outstanding year of swimming. We look forward to seeing you at our August 31st parents meeting which will be at 6:30pm at Burke High School and will last approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

We are coming off of one of the most successful Long Course seasons ever. MOST swimmers averaged over 53 points each at the D1 meet in Lincoln. This was easily the highest of any Omaha team and second only to Lincoln Select. While the total points accrued often indicate little more than which team has the most swimmers, this point average is a solid indicator of the quality of the swimmers on the team. We can all be very proud of both our program and the outstanding effort and dedication of the fine young men and women that choose to be a part of our family.

We have had an incredible amount of interest in the program over the summer and we look forward to an outstanding number of both new and returning swimmers this fall. We have been working with OPS to secure the locations and times necessary to ensure that each member will continue to receive plenty of water and coaching. Neither of these resources are easy to come by, but we have been able to secure a combination that we feel offers optimum potential to our entire family of athletes.

The majority of you have been with the team for years and will no doubt find the schedule to be nearly identical to our previous years. Please do review it though, as there are likely to be some minor changes. All members are encouraged to contact us should they have any questions.

We are encouraging all existing and potential new members to attend our parent's meeting, as it is the perfect time to learn about the team and meet coaches, board members and other families. Please pass along a personal invitation to anyone you know that may be interested. Please also make sure to introduce yourself to the many new families at the meeting and make yourself available to answer any questions they may have.
